stylish apartments perfectly positioned within easy reach of london

The Fountain is a stunning collection of 30 modern and stylish 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments by Devine Homes, set in the heart of New Malden. Part of the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames, New Malden counts Raynes Park, Richmond, Surbiton and Wimbledon amongst its neighbours. It's a bustling place to live, having enjoyed a recent regeneration and offers a rich cultural tradition and shopping to rival Central London.

Conveniently located near to all of the local facilities on the High Street, The Fountain has for many years been the site of a very popular Public House serving the local area. This is to be refurbished and given a new lease of life. Part of this development will include impressive new apartments alongside.

The apartments enjoy a prime position in the heart of New Malden, by the Fountain roundabout - a key connection between Kingston and New Malden and just a minute from the A3 - perfectly positioned for commuters. It is less than a 10-minute walk to New Malden Station and from there you can be at Waterloo in just 24 minutes, putting Central London within easy reach.

EXCELLENT LOCAL FACILITIES, LONDON ON YOUR DOORSTEP & PARKS AROUND THE CORNER

New Malden developed as a separate town from Kingston as a result of the arrival of the railway in 1846. Suburban development followed and reached a peak in the 1930s.

New Malden today - incidentally just a couple of miles north of the former village of Old Malden - is still relatively small but the High Street provides a good range of local amenities, cafes, restaurants and shops, including Waitrose, Tesco and Lidl. For larger stores, further restaurants and the Odeon Cinema you’ll need to take a 10-minute bus ride to Kingston-upon Thames, or a trip to Central London for the West End Theatres. The sports centre in the middle of town (The Malden Centre) offers a swimming pool, gym and community facilities, while the long established (since 1920) New Malden Sports Club nearby is a popular place to play tennis, squash, badminton and snooker, with an active social membership.

There are other sporting venues nearby if you like the thrill of rugby at Twickenham Stadium, the taste of strawberries and cream at the iconic Wimbledon Tennis Championships or the classic Derby horse-racing at Epsom. Other spectacular sights within 10 miles include Hampton Court Palace - once home to Henry VIII and a world-class art collection, with fabulous gardens and a historic maze. Also, Richmond Park, a magnificent area of parkland offers historic buildings, ancient woodland and a variety of wildlife. Perfect for picnics, off-road cycling, walking, running, horse-riding and, of course, spotting some of the 630 Red and Fallow deer that have been roaming freely here since the mid-1600s.

There are some excellent primary schools in the area rated either ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted including Burlington Infant & Nursery School, Blossom House School, Christ Church New Malden CofE School and Malden Manor Primary & Nursery School all within less than a mile.
