Historic Location

Just 15 miles South West of central London, Epsom is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside with public access to commons and downland dotted with ponds, heathland, woodland and meadows. Azor Place sits just across from Epsom Downs and the racecourse itself, which is home of perhaps the most famous horse race in the world – The Derby – run every year in June since 1780.

Bustling Town Of Epsom

Epsom town centre is still bustling today with independent retailers, cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. The Ashley Centre is the main focus, with over 50 stores that also spill out onto the High Street, including Marks and Spencer, Next and Waitrose.

There are many well-regarded schools nearby, making Epsom a popular choice for families, including Epsom Downs Primary, Warren Mead Junior and Infants as well as Aberdour and Priory Independents. The Beacon School is the nearest secondary and rated ‘good’ while Roseberry and Glyn are both ‘outstanding’.

Transport Choices

When it comes to rail transport there is a good choice of stations. The nearest is Tattenham Corner - where the British monarch alights from the British Royal Train when attending the Derby – with direct trains to London Bridge in under an hour. Epsom station is just 3 miles away, in the centre of town, offering journey times to London Waterloo and Victoria in just over half an hour, while Epsom Downs is less than 2 miles away.

Epsom is well connected by road, with the A24 being just 2.3 miles away. The M25 (Junctions 8 and 9) is within easy reach and provides access to Gatwick in just 25 minutes and Heathrow in less than an hour.
