Devine Homes Statement re. Coronavirus – 20th March 2020
The health and well-being of our staff, clients and customers is of paramount importance and although the threat of Coronavirus has appeared remote at present, the situation is changing every day and the threat of infection is set to rise significantly.
Avoid all physical contact with clients, customers and visitors. Do not shake hands when greeting someone and keep the suggested 1-meter distance at all times.
Wash your hands thoroughly with hot water and antibacterial soap immediately on arrival at the office or on site and frequently throughout the day. Specifically, you should wash your hands immediately after every interaction.
Only necessary appointments, meetings and visitors are allowed, and social distancing should be applied. People are encouraged to have conversations by phone where possible.
Work areas are to be cleaned at the start of every day with anti-bacterial wipes. All staff are encouraged to sanitise frequently touched areas several times a day.
Hand-sanitiser gel will be supplied where soap and water is not available.
All staff and visitors are asked to declare if they are/have been unwell or if they have been in contact with anyone in that situation. Anyone considered to be a risk will be asked to return home immediately and isolate for 14 days.
Without hesitation or question, we will comply with any request to decline or cancel appointments.
Non urgent and routine defects will still be recorded by Devine Homes however, customers are advised that non-urgent defects (including snags identified at handover) will not be attended to during the coronavirus crisis. All defects will be revisited once restrictions have been lifted. Customers are being advised that there is no current timetable for response to these non-urgent and routine reports of defects.
These procedures will remain under constant review and may be amended in line with NHS/Government guidelines.
